Luan de Bruin, Tom Botha, Gunther Janse van Vuuren and Johan Coetzee are the four tight head props secured for the Toyota Cheetahs and Toyota Free State Cheetahs in 2017.
Luan de Bruin
Date of Birth: 13.02.1993
Weight: 120 kg
Height: 1.83 m
Luan played for the Free State U19 side (2012), the UFS Shimlas (2013) in the Varsity Cup competition, before he was selected in the SA U20 side that played in the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in France. In 2013 he played for the Free State U21 side before playing in another Varsity Cup campaign for the UFS Shimlas (2014).
De Bruin's first taste of senior provincial rugby came during the 2014 Vodacom Cup competition when he made his debut against the EP Kings in Cradock. He made his Super Rugby debut as a substitute for Springbok, Coenie Oosthuizen, against the Lions in Johannesburg on 12 July 2014.
He is a regular on the field, making his appearance in all 11 of their Currie Cup matches during the 2015 season. He has represented the Toyota Cheetahs in 7 Super Rugby matches to date.
Tom Botha

Weight: 110 kg
Height: 1.79 m
Tom Botha played an integral rol in the scrum success of the EP Kings this year and the Toyota Cheetahs are delighted to have him on board for the 2017 season. He has signed for two years with the Toyota Cheetahs.
He represented the Sharks U19 in the 2009 Under-19 Provincial Championship after returning to Cape Town for the 2010 season where he started in four matches for Western Province U21 helping Western Province finish top of the log. He made his debut for Western Province in the 2011 Vodacom Cup and was a key member of the team’s campaign in 2012.
He played for Montpellier's Under-23 team during the 2012–13 seasons and helped them to win the competition. He returned to South Africa in June 2014 by joining the EP Kings.
Gunther Janse van Vuuren

Height: 1.86 m
The exciting twenty year old prop from Pretoria has been part of the Currie Cup team in 2016 and has signed a two year contract with the Toyota Cheetahs.
Johan Coetzee
Date of Birth: 14.03.1988
Weight: 120 kg
Height: 1.86 m
Johan (nickname Aranos) Coetzee represented the Leopards U21s and he played Varsity Cup rugby for NWU Pukke in 2010. He made his first class debut for the Leopards 2010. After the 2010 SA season he moved to France where he joined Top 14 side Racing Métro (2010-2012) before moving to Brive (2012-2015).
He switched allegiances to his country of birth, Namibia and made his test debut for them on 6 June 2015 in their 2015 Africa Cup match against Tunisia in Nabeul. Coetzee played in four matches for Namibia in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Coetzee has represented the Toyota Cheetahs in 6 Super Rugby matches in 2016.
