Free State Rugby is delighted to announce that the talented wing, Ryno Benjamin has committed by re-signing with the Toyota Cheetahs.
The lanky and speedy winger made his provincial debut for Boland in 2004. He is an entertaining player with 76 Super Rugby caps (18 tries) to his name.
Benjamin played Super Rugby for the Stormers (2006) and the Lions (2008) before moving to the Bloemfontein in 2011.
As a Springbok Sevens player he represented South Africa from 2005 to 2007 and again in 2015 after an absence of seven seasons for the first two tournaments. Ryno was a star in the Cape Town tournament after being side-lined by an injury. He is a significant asset to the backline play of the franchise.
He is an entertaining player with 79 tries in 187 first class rugby matches - and always a pleasure to watch on the field
