The Toyota Free State Cheetahs is delighted to announce that an exciting new wing, Makazole Mapimpi has signed with the Toyota Free State Cheetahs.
Mapimpi is currently playing Vodacom Super Rugby for the Kings and will join the Toyota Free State Cheetahs ……
He was a member of the Border u.19 team that played in the 2009 under 19 Provincial Championship. Mapimpi made is Vodacom Cup debut for Border in 2014 against the Sharks XV and was a star performer in their final match of the 2015 season against Boland Cavaliers when he scored a hat-trick of tries and took over the kicking duties and slotted three conversions and a penalty in the absence of the regular kicker. He made his Currie Cup debut for Border against the Griquas in 2014.
