Munier Hatzenberg, a 25-year-old winger, hails from Manenberg in Cape Town. He attended Leadership College and played Varsity Cup rugby for Maties from 2018 to 2021, during which he pursued a BA in Humanities and a Postgraduate degree in Education at Stellenbosch University.
After completing his studies, Hatzenberg joined Griquas before finding his home at the Toyota Cheetahs. He is currently part of the 2023 Currie Cup-winning squad.
