CALLING ALL GOLFERS!

You are cordially invited to join us at the TOYOTA SU WOORDFEES GOLF DAY, presented in conjunction with the Cheetahs Rugby Trust.

• Date: Thursday 13 October 2022
• Golf Course: De Zalze Golf Club
• Format:  Fourball alliance, two scores per hole.
• Tee-off: from 11:30
• Cost: R5 000 per fourball, halfway house and prize-giving dinner
• Golf carts:  R490 per cart (bookings and payment must be made directly with the Pro Shop, tel. 021 880 7300)
• Marketing stand:  R2 000 per hole

The marketing stand gives you the opportunity to display marketing materials and hand out branded refreshments at one of the course holes. Promotional material must be dropped off at the golf club the day before the time, and the station has to be manned at all times. DZGC will set up your stall at a fee of R500.

It is going to be a fun day where sport and the arts take hands.  Well-known sports icons such as Morné du Plessis, De Wet Ras and Olympic gold medal winner Ryk Neethling, as well as several writers and artists, will attend. You may also request to play in a four ball with them.  (The celebrity’s fee has to be borne by the other members of your fourball. Indicate on your application whether you wish to play with a celebrity and which celebrity you would prefer to join you. The list with available names to follow soon.) The well-known columnist Blouwillem Theron, a founding member of the Cheetah Rugby Trust, will be the MC for the day.  

Several unique sports memorabilia, as well as artworks and a weekend away, will be auctioned.  Funds raised will be divided between the Cheetahs Trust for the recruitment, development and retention of talented players and the Toyota SU Woordfees for providing work opportunities and production development for artists.  

Come and rub shoulders with sports and arts celebrities and support these two valued organisations by submitting a fourball application.
