Toyota Cheetahs lock and captain for the 2015 season, Francois Uys, is already in Japan where he will feature in the Japanese Top League for Toyota Verblitz.

The Toyota Cheetahs and their Japanese counterparts (Toyota Verblitz), have a very strong working relationship that allow coaches and players to apply their skills for both entities. Francois is the first player from the Toyota Cheetahs that has been given the opportunity to broaden his horizons and benefit from the Toyota Cheetahs and Toyota Verblitz relationship.

Double World Cup winner and former Toyota Cheetahs scrum Coach, Os du Randt in currently the Verblitz forwards coach.

Uys will be back in Bloemfontein for the Toyota Cheetahs first Super Rugby match next year against the Argentinian team on 26 February in Bloemfontein.
