First Currie Cup Match: 26 June 2021, coming on as a replacement for Tian Meyer on the left wing.
Background: Jasper is an exciting outside back from the Central University of Technology Ixias (CUT), predominantly playing at fullback but also dangerous on the wing. He is known for his ability to create scoring opportunities from nothing and can swing a match, as he did during the Ixias' first-ever win over the Maties. He was named Varsity Cup Player that Rocks in 2021.
Playing Career:
Jasper studies IT at CUT, hails from Boland, and represented the province during the 2017 Craven Week. He attended HTS Drostdy in Worcester. He has already played 17 games - 14 in the Currie Cup and 3 in the Toyota Challenge - for the Toyota Cheetahs. He is part of the 2023 Currie Cup-winning squad.
