The 25-year-old Munier Hatzenberg is from a town called Manenberg in Cape Town. He attended school at Leadership College. He also played Varsity Cup at Maties from 2018-2021.
Hatzenberg studied BA in Humanities and Post Grad in Education at Stellenbosch while he was playing for Maties.
After finishing his studies, he went to play for Griquas and found himself a home at the Toyota Cheetahs as Wing.
He is part of the 2023 Currie Cup winner's squad.
